Welcome to the Norwegian-American Genealogical Association

(N-AGA)

N-AGA membership meetings are held the last Wednesday of most months at 7pm. Please check the events calendar for details. In-person research is available an hour prior to membership meetings. Research inquiries can be sent to research@norwegianamerican.org.

N-AGA is a branch of the Minnesota Genealogical Society. Our extensive library of Norwegian books and maps for research is located in the Hoffman Research Library of the Minnesota Genealogical Society, 1385 Mendota Road, Mendota Heights, 55120. Library privileges are a benefit of N-AGA membership. The Hoffman Research Library is now open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Members and visitors  are no longer required to reserve time slots at the Hoffman Research Library.  Fully vaccinated persons are no longer required to wear masks. If you are not fully vaccinated, masks are still required.
